Heat Seal Printing

Screen Printing

From the artwork you supply we can create intricate esigns through screen printing. The screen is a  membrane with a woven mesh to support an ink blocking stencil. One screen applies one single colour print at any one time and multiple prints require multiple screens. We place the screen on to the machine carousel . The light solidifies the chemicals around the design, and where the light failed to pass through, the chemical breaks down. The screen is then rinsed out and what is left is the area where the light hit.The attached screen forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink as a sharp-edged image onto a garment. The shirt is placed on a platen and each screen swings around over the top of the shirt. The screen is then brought down and placed on top of the shirt. A squeegee is moved across the screen stencil pushing ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas. Thus the design is transferred onto the garment. A catalyst within the ink hardens the design which is assisted by spot curing or the garments are placed through an industrial drier.

Pros are: superb for large designs and large orders

Cons are: very expensive for small quantities (less than 25); more colours the more screens needed so the greater the cost.

Embroidery

Embroidery creates an impression of quality & style. Excellent for polos, jackets, caps, knitwear etc. and normally outlasts any garment onto which it is applied. Recent developments in embroidery software mean that design /set up costs can be low and the new generation of embroidery machines run quickly with any number of colours being applied in a single operation.

Digitising - this is the origination of of the embroidery file to enable the embroidery machines to stitch your artwork onto a garment. There is a set up charge to create this file, which is a one off charge. Prices are based on the number of stitches in the artwork design

Set Pricing

Depending on how complex the artwork is to reproduce depends on how much we charge:

Simple Designs = £12 (simple drawings usually just letters)
Medium Designs = £25 (drawings usually made up of letters & simple graphics)
Complex Designs = £35 (drawings made up of letters or graphics with colours or layers)
Very Complex = £50 - £80 (drawings with thousands of object smade up of letters or graphics and multiple letters or layers)

This includes a 48hr workday turnaround time. Most will be done in 24hrs. Quotes given within the hour.
